WHAT IS CBD - EVERYTHING YOU’VE BEEN WANTING TO KNOW
Cannabis. Love it or hate it, marijuana and its extracts have been making waves lately in the news. One ingredient in particular is capturing the imagination of e-liquid manufacturers: Cannabidiol, also known as CBD.
But what is CBD?
Like its slightly better known cousin THC, it is one of the active ingredients in the cannabis leaf that give it its medicinal properties.
However, unlike THC, CBD does not produce the recreational intoxicating ‘high’ that people often associate with cannabis.
Instead, CBD is better at calming you down and alleviating pain. It doesn’t affect the way you think or feel, and in fact a lot of people wouldn’t have much reason to take it in the first place due to that lack of immediately intoxicating effects.
