Table of wick/wire resistances

If anyone can fill in any blanks that would awesome. Some should just be left blank as no ones going to want to put 5 wraps of 0.15mm kanthal round 5mm wick. It doesn't have to be super accurate as it's just intended as a guideline but I think as yet not a soul has bothered to come up with this and it will be super handy. I'll also be using some of the info to put on the back of the wire cards we get printed from now on if it will fit.

It'll end up on the potv wiki too

I can confirm 4 wraps of 0.2 on 3mm = 1.8 & 4 wraps on 2mm = 1.5

guess its not really applicable to this as im using ribbon kanthal on a SS mesh anyway but just for sake of it 3 wraps on .4 ribbon is giving me 0.9 ohms. i guess with mesh its a little simpler as the only real equation is the kanthal and number of wraps ( though saying that maybe diff grade SS gives different results. never got that far yet to see if 320 would be different from my 400 SS

I am presuming that this is kanthal wrapped around a single strand? I always double mine over.

EDIT: though I wouldn't double 5mm silica.

stealthvape, I'll see if I can come up with an excel spreadsheet giving predicted coil values based on wick dia vs wire size as coil resistance is basically a function of wire length. It will be good to see if it matches reality...
