The Geekvape Aegis attracted much attention in the community as it claims to be waterproof, shockproof, and dustproof. Many reviewers have tested and proven these features in various ways. Mooch, one of the trusted experts also gave very positive test reports on this mod.
To prove if this mod can really survive the actual IP67 and military standard MIL-STD-810G-516.6 shock testing, Mooch did a few tests as below:
Surprisingly, the device still functioned after all these tests though showing some minor issues, for example, the front plate and up/down buttons popped off, the screws holding on the decorative metal “bumpers” around the leather popped out. But it's easy to fix these problems. Even though this mod finally failed after ridiculously abusive destructive testing, it's no doubt a super durable mod on the market.
