She realised she was unable to pay so was forced to leave parts of her shopping behind when she got to the till

An Aldi shopper was left in "shock" after realising she was unable to pay for her shopping when she reached the checkout.

Posting on Facebook yesterday (July 25), the mum said she had been shopping at Aldi on St Mary's Road in Garston with her six-year-old son.

After reaching the till with her shopping, she discovered she had brought out the wrong cash card and had to abandon some of her items at the till.

The mum said she left the supermarket and as she was packing away the rest of her shopping into her car, a "lovely man" came up to her with the bag of goods she had to leave behind.

She said she was " that much in shock with the man's kindness " she forgot to ask his details to repay the money.

Following the kind act, the mum posted on Facebook to thank the stranger for his generosity, but also for the opportunity it gave to explain to her six-year-old the "importance of being kind".

The mum's post read: "So today while I was shopping in the Aldi on Aigburth road I got to the till and realised I’d brought the incorrect cash card out, so I left some shopping behind.

"Anyway, as I was packing my car up some lovely man came up to the car with a bag of the bits I left behind ... was that much in shock with his kindness didn’t ask for his details to repay that.

"So if your that very kind person please get in touch as I’d love to drop the money back to you."

"But Thankyou so much as was able to explain to my six year old son who was with me the importance of being kind".

Half way through before realising it's a good news story... bloody clickbaity journalists!
:)

Restores my faith in humanity a bit by reading stories like this.

The problem is only one person offered help, i bet there wasn't a queue behind him waiting to also pay for the goods left. I know it was a kind deed but i know some folk look to take advantage like this daily, claiming no money yet spend loads online on stuff .
When someone offers to repay the doner on social media then they are legit. Like this case.

exactly

Unfortunately there is a thing where people do this knowing that the person behind them will feel the need out of goodness to pay
