I dunno, i think if we actually paused it here, then there is a very real issue with this type of vaccine, and that it probably is a problem that they can identify they just need time to work it out.

Remember, they r still doling out the az vaccine (altho u may find this all of a sudden silently and mysteriously unavailable)

Americans r used to taking drugs with potentially horrific side effects, especially if its for their own vanity (think botox and viagra).

Thats why we didnt blink at the issue when the AZ came into question. As far as we r concerned, if it means we can go out without a mask, or basically feel safer, a one in a million chance of a side effect, we will take those odds all day long.

6,800,000 doses given and 6 cases identified so far. So that's 1 case in roughly every 1,113,000 doses. Pretty good odds compared to the odds of covid doing some serious damage if coronavirus is contracted in the absence of said vaccine.

A million to one sure sounds better than a thousand to one, at least to my ears.

Exactly, i mean, if those 350 ppl that statiscally have to die was one of your children it becomes a lot more real, but greater good and all that...

Plus its more like 150 ppl, half of this country will not get vaccinated, almost for sure

I doubt u will get accurate statistics for either.
I believe thailand or singapore, or maybe india, just ordered a bunch of sputnik (not sure why tho, i would probably go with the vaccine coming from the country that made the virus) :-)
So maybe we will learn more

We need to get the good vaccines to africa and wipe that variant out b4 it screws everything up. End up mixing with aids and ebola, then there will be a problem
