Something else that has been 'is it them or is it me' bugging me.
The EU have been exporting vaccines, many through Covax.
As here:
https://www.nytimes.com/2021/03/10/world/europe/eu-exports-covid-vaccine.html
I looked at the Covax website, here:
https://www.gavi.org/covax-vaccine-roll-out
.......... and found this:
Does it make sense to anybody else to ship vaccines out of countries with high infection and death rates to a country with low infection rates (and no deaths for months)? It seems irrelevant which country is richer or poorer?
https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/country/viet-nam/
*and FWIW I picked Vietnam because I love the place, was brought up there, and have been following it.*
I'm not against Covax, we need to pull together globally, of course ............ but the priorities seem wrong and the logic seems faulty to me?
