Seems pretty pointless proving you're vaccinated when the vaccinated can carry the same viral load as the unvaccinated and still transmit the virus, albeit at a lower transmission rate.

TBH the whole thing just creates more questions...
like why the fuck jab the kids then ???

If passports are no longer to be implemented - does the care-home jabs still apply
and/or further NHS rollout still planned ???

The pessimist in me tends to think there will be further lockdowns
or some renamed restricted socialising measures...
RSM or some BS will be used instead of "lockdown"

Then the Government will announce they will not be enforcing vaccine passports
but under their breath they will mutter...
(Everything will be closed again, so you won't be able to visit them anyway)

We shall just how far they keep moving & where they end up...

I was on my way home, last night, at 9.30pm, gig on the pier, madness in the town centre - even at that early time, no police. Guy running amok along the seafront, off his nut and bat shit crazy, jumping on and over moving vehicles etc. There arent any police to enforce jack shit, and they would be needed, because it will kick off, and venue security are overwhelmed, saw it last night. Vaccine passports would propagate mayhem, and what's the point of that shit anyway, there is no social distancing anymore (at night, when out) and the vaccinated can still transmit covid, wtf.

I think there will be lockdowns to come, you cant have fun anymore, it's not allowed, but last night was the wild west, that certainly wasn't fun.

Yet I wonder how many 18~25/30 year olds
was coerced into getting the jab so they could continue to go to clubs & pubs etc...

If they was getting the jab of their own free will - then fine
BUT - if some may have felt coerced as the threat of passport entry etc...

Then I imagine there might be some people a little bit pissed after being coerced/persuaded
into taking a vaccine they had reservations about taking maybe

I do not profess to have any of the answers
but all countries seem to be facing a clusterfuck in dealing with this pandemic
and some seem to making the clusterfuck worse
yet this pandemic truly seems to be a damned if you do & damned if you don't situation

Other conspiracy theories are saying if they segregated people into vaxxed/non-vaxxed
and the vaxxed still caught/spread COVID even after segregation it would undermine
the passport/segregation proposal and/or the true effectiveness of the vaccines as cases rise in winter
But by not segregating people with passports, the government can then bring lockdown measures as
the spread is due to allowing people to mix so freely without passport/segregation

Hmmm... bit ultra tin foil hat, think many are not going to be surprised if or mostly likely when lockdowns return

Wild conspiracies aside - I think there may some younger people wondering why they got jabbed so quickly
if now passports may not be introduced (YET - but they will keep the threat/proposal on the table)

took them long enough to announce it
look if you want your kids jabbed, take them to a vaccine centre
(with parents/guardian or on their own if they can freely Gillick competent/consent)
then concerned parents minds will be eased about possible coercion in schools

pretty sure the vaccine centres will ensure or be reluctant to freely jab u16's
they feel might not be fully able to consent
