Nah - I got just as bored with sitting on a beach in my teens as I do now! Bored, hot, uncomfortable ............ and grumpy.
Exactly. Why pay good money to be grumpy when you can do it on the cheap.

Heading up again end of this month. Found a little farmhouse to stay in on the shore of Loch Awe in Argyll and Bute about 15 miles North of Inveraray. Very much looking forward to that! Coffee in front garden in a morning whilst dogs run down for a swim in Loch, not a bad way to spend a week.
Trip over to Oban planned to take a look around the distillery again and a run down to Inveraray to check out a little whisky shop that looks like my idea of nirvana.
Last September managed to get up to Errogie near Loch Ness though Corey wasn't too keen on the deer that kept coming up to the cottage! Kept Lizzie happy on that trip with a run over to Glenfinnan Viaduct (Harry Potter) with a quick stop in Fort William on drive back.
Looks tiny on that picture but it's actually bloody massive! Gets lost in the mountains.
I do love Scotland!
