@Nucleus If your happy with the Switch that's the main thing, my son says the exact same thing to me as your saying, everything has it's own place. To be fair i haven't looked up anything on the Switch only the TV adverts, i did look for some games for my son on flea bay and the choice wasn't vast so probably thats one of the reasons i wouldn't get one, plus my eyes aren't good enough to play handheld gaming consoles anymore so that's another reason, although i know you can play it through a monitor, i guess at the end of the day i am not a Nintendo fan anymore, nothing more or nothing less.
I wasn’t having a dig by the way, more to the defence of your “Nintendo have had their day” quote lol. Console and game sales suggest otherwise in my opinion. The way I look at it is this, blood, guns and gore don’t have to be included to be a good game
Goldeneye and Mario Golf on the N64 kept me busy for a long time. Absolutely loved Goldeneye. Perfect Dark was another great game on the same platform.
Goldeneye defined an entire genre of gaming. Graphics haven’t held up well at all though lol. Spent countless hours on it though
The only game that came close to it for a long time, for me, was Timesplitters 2 on the PS2, another brilliant game you could play over and over.
