Every ten years the overall global temprature will peak at a high or a low as the earth tilts on its axis as it spins.
This means we get ten years where the temps are slightly increasing each year to a peak then start dropping again.
We then get ten years where the temps are slightly decreasing each year to a low peak then start rising again.

The earth has been steadily warming since the end of the last ice age and will continue warming up until the next.

Weve started on car emissions and there are conspiracy theories rife on this atm.

    Whats your thoughts?

Seems to me that science has demonstrated global warming is happening. I think mostly the people behind the conspiracies are oil barrons and creationists.

To think that the whole thing is an elaborate ruse so they can make money from racing fossil fuels etc seems very paranoid.

The rate of temperature increase over the last 50-60 years is higher than it should be tho'.

The ETS in your link was, like some good ideas, a worthy start, but well it has been used and abused. Letting lower emission companies sell their extra to higher emission companies doesn't really decrease the amount of CO2 emitted.
And it doesnae take into account NOX emissions which are more concerning.
And, correct me if I am wrong, doesnae do much regards the emissions from agriculture namely the stupendous amounts of actual shite that creates its own issues.

CO2 tax on car emissions could have been a good start, but do any of the lesser developed countries do much about it? You ever seen the cars, vans and trucks that spew fuck knows how much crap in places like rural Pakistan, China, South America and so on? Aye, co2 tax is going well there.
But, Western governments need to show that they are doing their part so a wee something that looks good in the press, a wee something that is a start at the very least. That's what it is.

Does all this crap mean we are going to have a cracking summer this year. Yes or no?
We will all be dead by the time this planet really fucks up. So why worry about it?

    Winter is coming.
Its all bollocks really. Co2 tax? How does that reduce emmisions? Just makes people poorer thats all. Its all well and good researching technologies to produce less emissions etc but it all counts for shit for numerous reasons. I mean what use is reducing emmisions of things when more and more people are using them since the global population is approaching if not already crossed that 8billion mark. Took couple of hundred thousands years to reach 7billion, and in past 10-20years another billion already. Us humans are a plague on this planet, if were not destroying IT, were destroying each other.
We just destroy everything we touch.
    Homosapien - wise man.
    Bollocks.

It's a shame that monkeys evolved and not turtles.

Nothing more than parasites really us humans.
We move in, exhaust all resources, then die.

The whole idea is that global warming and reducing carbon emissions will make a difference.
The theory is its all born out of greed by nations looking at ways to globally organise taxation.
