2020 so far in photos.

I've been reading your review of the Vaporesso Target PM80 Kit, I'm really interested in that one, but cant get my head around the inbuilt wattage limits on coils. I vape higher wattages for a warmer vape, hence, it's a deal breaker for me. Do you know if the limiter cuts in when using the rba deck? Because that's mainly what I would be using, I'm assuming the wattage lock applies to all coils.

Edit; The wattage limiter only applies in smart mode?

It's only July but here's the devices I still use regularly which have survived the novelty factor, not to say the rest are crap, more of a case of what I use in between incoming review items.

Smok Mag M270 & Baby V2 Kit
https://www.planetofthevapes.co.uk/reviews/mods/smok-mag-m270-baby-v2-kit.html
This just frikkin rocks, I love the Baby V2 and one of the few stock coils I still buy

UWELL VALYRIAN 2 300W SUB-OHM KIT
https://www.planetofthevapes.co.uk/reviews/mods/uwell-valyrian-2-300w-sub-ohm-kit.html
As much as I enjoyed the tank I haven't bothered with coils but I use the mod a lot, a thing of beauty and so small for a 3 battery mod.

Vaporesso Target PM80 Kit
https://www.planetofthevapes.co.uk/reviews/pod-systems/vaporesso-target-pm80-kit.html
The one and only DTL Pod/mod AIO I use, no novelty factor as this kit is still the best.

Vaporesso XTRA
https://www.planetofthevapes.co.uk/reviews/pod-systems/vaporesso-xtra.html
Though the draw isn't as tight as I would have liked this is my main MTL pod and use daily, the flavour and coil lifespan is superb.

Augvape Merlin Nano
https://www.planetofthevapes.co.uk/reviews/rba/augvape-merlin-nano.html
The GTX ONE kit has taken over my rebuildables for a bit but this is still in my rotation, such a great flavoured MTL tight draw.

Dovpo Pioneer MTL RTA
https://www.planetofthevapes.co.uk/reviews/rba/dovpo-pioneer-mtl-rta.html
Pretty much the same as the above, side by side I'm undecided which is best, the 22mm is easier to match a mod though.

Vaporesso GTX ONE Kit
https://www.planetofthevapes.co.uk/reviews/mods/vaporesso-gtx-one-kit.html
This is a game changer for me, the PM80 is superb for DTL but shit for MTL, the XTRA is decent but the ONE has adjustable airflow.

Dovpo Blotto Mini RTA
https://www.planetofthevapes.co.uk/reviews/rba/dovpo-blotto-mini-rta.html
Still fairly new for me but the flavour of this RTA is so frikkin good and weening me off stock coils.

Innokin Coolfire Z50 Zilde Kit
https://www.planetofthevapes.co.uk/reviews/mods/innokin-coolfire-z50-zilde-kit.html
Novelty factor is still fresh on this classy kit, the flavour is up there with the Vaporesso GTX ONE but the coil life isn't as good, time will tell if it stays in rotation but I've fallen for this classy kit.

Too early to judge in the awaiting to be published but I already have a feel for them:
Vaporesso Target PM30
Nah, this isn't the MTL answer to the PM80 and already back in its box.

SMOK G-PRIV 3 Kit
It's a great mod, the tank isn't as good as the Baby V2 for flavour and I don't love the mod as much as my Species or M270.

Vaporesso GEN S Kit
I LOVE the GEN mod, the new GT4 Mesh coil has made the NRG tank worthy to sit on the mod - I have stopped using it due to me hating the colour, I still use my old GEN in Blue.

Vaporesso GEN Nano Kit
This kit is superb, the colour isn't my bag but still using it, for a tank & mod combo this is great for out & about lower powered DTL and it takes GTX coils, the SWAG kit is obsolete now!

Geek Vape Zeus X Mesh RTA
The first Mesh RTA (or RDA for that matter) that has truly wowed me, novelty factor doesn't really matter with rebuildables as it either works well or doesn't, this will be my new Juice Review benchmark atty.

The wattage isn't limited, it just sets it to the recommended wattage but you're free to increase or decrease it.

I've found on the 0.2 Ohm coil that the 55 Watts is such a good balance for flavour vs coil lifespan, you can pop it up to 65 watts if you prefer but don't expect the coils to last as long, however the coil life is amazing with nice large wicking ports so I'm sure you will enjoy it.

If you don't enjoy Pod/Mods then the new GEN Nano is the next best thing, possibly better with its features and adjustable airflow, but for me the PM80 looks and feels so damn good.

Voopoo use a wattage limiter in Smart mode on the Drag X/S & Argus GT. This sets a wattage in the middle of the wattage range for a given coil & wont allow you to increase power over the max rated wattage. Or just put it in RBA mode & stick two fingers up at the control freaks :D

Hoping to sticking with the pods, just read this about the PM80, it was on amazon though:

If it wasn't for the appalling build quality of the internals, this would be an outstanding device. The issue is, the ribbon cable that attaches loosely to the battery inside comes loose very very easily, and they just stop working out of the blue. I have had 3 of these now since March, and each one has succumbed to this fault.

Two of them have been returned, but one of them was kept to strip down and figure out what was causing it. As stated, appalling build quality. The USB connector comes loose from the board with any kind of knock, and the poorly stuck down ribbon cable (which again, is stuck down and not soldered) comes loose and causes the device to fail.
