If you had read the Aurora review (brutally honest, as I try to be in all my reviews) you may have had 2nd thoughts sending Cold to me lol .
Some things are a pleasure to write about because they do what they say on the tin, which makes me work harder to find faults. This was honestly a pleasure to do so Thank You for the opportunity.

A bad review for me is a learning curve what is possible and what you can do are 2 things with mods

Case in point is screws on faceplates some people hate them but there is s reason

Ok I could use magnets or glue ? Hmmm

I use screws and the reason is simple one maintenance if that board fails and boards do the mod comes back say the board is a dna it goes back on rma and the new board is fitted the mod is serviced and back out if this in the warranty the cost is the postage outside it’s a ‘drink’ and at cost price

So if I get a bad review or niggles I look at them the mod is adjusted each time the process changes if you don’t listen to the cons your a fool

Tust me had I found something other than cosmetic (to me) I would have been quite open. On Cold I already knew there may be issues with the new tubes & the first few batteries I tried were rewraps with stickers. This was covered but isn't an issue solely with your mods or Robs tubes. Bit of common sense meant that could be covered with no detriment. It would be too easy to blame the modmaker or the component maker when the issue is actually out of their hands. A tube battery holder hasn't yet been made that can accomodate every make of battery or wrap without either sticking or rattling.

Actually Stu I have found a fault with it. I can't put it down & the 100ml of juice has nearly gone

Oh dear that’s bad news

It’s an strange thing mods are all over the house bits of mods turn up in the butter dish in the loo scribbled bits of paper liz goes nuts over it

I get excited over a new chuck or mill and look lovingly at engineering magazines (engineers porn)
