Review

I am going to be racialist. Or is it regionalist when it’s in a positive manner? The Brits have a definite relationship with smoke houses: they stick fish in them. A few flamboyant gourmet types might venture to whack a bit of venison in there too, when nobody’s looking, but officially, it’s fish. End of. In Europe pretty much anything goes as long as the end result tastes good.

The Poles do many good things and amongst these must be included Slivovitz (Inawera do a Slivovitz flavour concentrate if you’re interested BTW). I have now sampled several Tino D Milano (Inawera’s top of range brand) tobacco concentrates and along with their sanity and good flavour they have all carried a great smokiness.

So, Poland makes a wonderful Plum Vodka and the Polish company producing e flavours produces a wonderful smokiness to its flavour concentrates when it wants to. Smoked Plum seemed a good bet to try.

And the bet paid off. I added 4 drops of Smoked Plum flavour to 5ml of my base did an accelerated steep and vaped. It is delicious.. yep at 1.6% it is wonderfully rounded and subtley plum like and smokey. It was and is, that simple.

Because it was such a wonderful vape I decided I wanted – more – so doubled the concentration ending up at a mix of 3.1% concentrate and – ruined it. There was loads more smoke and bags of vapour, but, the plum got muted and when it came through it was in an artificial sort of way. 8 drops was far too much, 6 is about right – but I will tune between 5 and 7 drops in 5ml of base as it’s good enough to merit exploration.

What I loved about this mix at 4 drops was its complexity. It was in many ways like having an analogue (is that profane?) and then distinct plum flavour would wander in mingle in the smokiness and waft off, leaving me with the smokiness. This is compex, subtle and moreish, the plum flavour is neither harsh nor ‘in your face’.

This is delicious and I have just made up a second 5ml bottle because the first one at 1.6% seems to have – vaporised.

Steeping

A little helped

Vapour

Good

Throat hit

None

Value

14p per ml and optimising somewhere around 1.5% to 2%? Brilliant

Use as a mixing ingredient

It would be sacrilege to waste this on mixing

Effects on tanks and atomizers and any known ‘nasties’

I must admit I was curious about this one, I figured it would either be rank or wonderful. Looks like I'll be adding it to my collection! I do find a lot of the Tino Milano flavours are easily over done. It makes a refreshing change that a company says the recommended % and it's accurate. Other companies say the recommended level and you have to at least double it-with these it's bang on :)

I should get in to Mixing but I have a Box full of pre made juices i need to get through

My friend who i introduced in to some of the Vaping he was Vaping just buying from spurious Vendors so i introduced him to stuff on the tinternet
and now he is mixing for himself his wife and all the rest of the Family and saving so much money lol

This is delicious and I have just made up a second 5ml bottle because the first one at 1.6% seems to have – vaporised.

Update. For some reason I ended up direct dripping this at work last night. At the end of 1 break I gave the bottle to Norm (fellow vaper) to try. I ended up at shift end, this morning, giving him the rest of the bottle as he was pleading for it. I have given him all sorts of bits in the past and a few other flavours. He is quite laid back and measured, but his enthusiasm for this was huge "Where can I get some more of this? It's superb. It is not a flavour that I would have considered trying in a million years". I am going to have to sort him out with some. I must have a look on http://4drops.co.uk to see if Inawera have a pre-mixed of it.

One of tomorrow's jobs for me is to mix myself some more of this - again :)

Gave up on trying to get any sleep tonight, so got up and mixed 25ml of this at 2%. Ordered it not long before xmas on the strength of the above review by Bryan123456 .

Really looking forward to trying it once steeped. Could accelerate it but I'd rather leave it for a couple of days. Aaargh!

It doesn't need much so you should be good to go pretty quickly. I'm vaping it now, it's just lush :)

Been vaping it all day in a carto and tank at various voltages, now I'm using it with a 2 ohm 306 and what I'll say is "?".
I'm not saying it's bad, don't for a second think that but I'm not really detecting any smokiness nor am I detecting any real hint of plum either lol.
There is a bit of an artificial taste to it which does however remind me of something that I can't quite put my finger on and that is going to drive me nuts.

Now normally with a mix like this I'd assume I need more flavouring but going with the opening post and following comments I am going to dilute it a touch more and try it then.

On another point, when I ordered the flavourings I also ordered some 30ml bottles. I've never had these type of bottles before and every time I go to pick one up I can't help being reminded of David Bowie's hat in the Ashes to Ashes video.

Inawera Bowie Bottles.

You know I was trying to find what they made me think of, and you found it for me. Spot on.
I just received, apart from a big sack of bottles, Smoked Plum; Mixed Spices; Lemon; Lime; Orange; and Grpefruit (I think, would be sure if it was in English); and Jamaican Rum. Going to do some mixing today.
Thanks for your advice on Inawera. It really does help. Don't suppose you've tried VaporWest, by any chance? :anyone:
