Firstly, I want to apologise for those of you who suffered timeouts and general web gremlins while using the site(s) for the past couple of weeks. The host of both sites started grinding to a halt and even cdn usage couldn't help keep the site up and running properly - it has been a headache.

I use the net all day, every day and can't abide slow websites so have put a bit of work in to relocate them to a shiny new server with my own optimisations - the short of it all though is that PlumeBlu should load in about a second for most broadband users when the cache is in use, Colonel Boom should be a touch longer as we don't use a cache on there for the time being - still only 1.5 seconds (all UK visitors)

Because of the optimisations in place it means we can remove the third party CDN (which distributes our files across global servers for improved speed to global visitors) and still get around a 3 second load in farther reaches such as most of the USA.

very nice man :)

Thanks, just found a little niggle with the webfonts not working properly on Firefox and most likely IE too - quick tweak and that should be sorted too.
