What's new

jim532 drip tip list :)

@jim532 - are you selling that stunning looking atty somewhere too?

excuse my delayed reply. Been offline for a while. Rather than explain my silly acrobatics again I will link http://ukvapers.org/Thread-PTFE-TIPS?page=51

I assume you mean the Ti Maxi atty? The answer to that is I will make a few more when I re-assemble my big lathe as my little lathe couldn't handle the many kgs of milling attachments that I need to build them. Will only make a few on a PT basis for the purists & collectors. The reason for that is due to the amount of hrs that they take to make I work well below the minimum wage. + machining pure Ti soon wears down the hardest of tools. But I can't deny the world a few more. I don't have one myself as every one I make gets snapped up the day its finished.

As for the tips, I will finish the lists that restarted on 2 forums, then I will start a new list for the coloured PTFE tips. Numbers for those will be limited due to the amount of material I have. Stealthvape had to ship in the coloured PTFE which was also subjected to high import duty. Therefore those tips will cost more than Virgin, Glass or Carbon PTFE

I have made them in various metals. Looking to make a few in copper this yr, just because I think copper looks good. Another thought I had was to make a metal tip with a coloured PTFE end. That would look cool as well as be cool.

Tips can make a big difference to your vape. ie; material used, length, internal bore/design (I say that as I have done a few requests for 4mm bore halfway then reducing to 2mm).

A couple of pics below of tips I made last year.

1x ss
1x brass
1x ss / brass mix if you think its possible
1x ptfe red

:D

Whenever you are up and running x

I use lead free brass. Most brass has lead added which makes it easier to machine. That long tip in the pic was made for a Moderator on another forum. It should be easy to spot the mods at the meets.

You can specify length. Mouthpiece diameter is about 9mm unless you request other. I made one 12.5mm in the wk to show a guy who wanted a few. He soon revised his order when I posted the pics http://ukvapers.org/Thread-PTFE-TIPS?page=51

I will get a tape measure to make sure i dont get something too big :D

@jim532 Would you ever consider doing pyrex tips?

Rocket does Pyrex http://www.planetofthevapes.co.uk/forums/showthread.php/26165-Rocket-science-mods-pyrex-drip-tips

His prices are good in comparison to some http://www.vaporlabsonline.com/Innovape-Silencer-Cap-Pyrex-Drip-Tip_p_895.html

TBH I have never given them a thought as there are many on the market already. I like to do things that are hard to find & hand made to peep's specs rather than cnc batches. If Pyrex could be machined economically.................

But the reality is it would be time consuming + I don't have glass grinding experience http://www.practicalmachinist.com/v...xperience-machining-pyrex-style-glass-248861/
