Were they drunk when they made the clutch? The fire button is on the wrong side. :S
For me it would have to be the SQ.
I'm not experienced enough for a mech.

Have you tried one? Suspect you may change your opinion if you do.

No. Wouldn't know where to start, matching coils to batteries? Or how to work out whats safe.

or do you mean finger firing?

Lol. No. Held one, I meant. Finger firing as you say.
I must say it's refreshing to hear, such caution.
However it won't hurt, even, regulated users to become more familiar with ohms law. It does actually effect some aspects of using a regulated mod.

there's a certain pleasure from building a coil, that will vape at your favoured power, on a mech or hybrid mech with no other controls but a fire button.

Its not for everyone, which is kinda fortunate.

Anything with a DNA chip is a winner for me but single 18650 no, 21700 would have been more friendly. The clutch, for me it is expensive for what it is when there are similar options for a lesser price. I would choose the DNA75c.

hopefully the clutch goes down in price on a few of these sites soon $90 or £75 is a bit steep imo, especuially considering its the same signature tips/mods design that they've always used
