Ultrasonic cleaning of Squonk bottles

you can put squonk bottles in the US cleaner.you can try to clean them with hot(not boiling) water or even pg to take smells away

Thank you. Might dip it in a Milton tablet solution as well

That’s what I use but the solution, couple drips in a clear zip lock bag then top up with water and leave it over night. Rinse out in the morning and they’re good to go

Meant to update yesterday, Ultrasonic’d with hot tap water and a couple of drops of fairy, no probs and no lingering smell or after taste going from tobacco based to fruits

I give mine a soak in bicarb over night seems to work have tried a sonic cleaner but smell was still there...........

Is it ok to use Milton with chrome that you get on some squonk bottles as ive heard that it can damage the chrome thats what has put me off using Milton.............

Never had any problem with milton and damaging metals. I normally dunk everything in milton for around 30 minutes then wash off. Never had any issues

Mind you ive never used it on chrome, i dont think. But silver squonk bottle caps has been fine
