My tank stand

I had a similar idea.
A bit odd 60mmx50mm scrap in the shed. Two spade drills one chisel and as touch of Dremel and, 40 min later atty and mod stand was ready. Needs sanded and varnished but does the job l need it too.

It's not a criticism, but if it were me I would hang a picture on the wall, just to make it more personal.

Before I started 3D printing this was my compact setup.

Though I did dabble with wood before that but eliquid and MDF soon swells.

If Im honest mine was just an Atty stand with space for any new ones free, untill 10pm yesterday. But, havinh knocked my Mod over twice, in a few minutes. I just got the tools out and cut the Mod slot.
Lol. It took longer to sharpen the chisel than make the entire thing.

Hahahaha @Ment yup I didn’t think it was possible to beat “discarded plank of wood” for cheapness but you totally win!

Next discarded plank of wood I come across l’ll get my drill out and give you a shout so you can “upgrade”!

Had the tools to make it,found some wood in the shed, hour later,done.

That’s great mate..it looks real fine...and as you say does the job and that’s all you need..function over form.
