How to DIY nic salts?

I've got some free base left and would like to convert them to salts.

Did some research and apparently the way to go is to use benzoic acid at a 1:1 molar ratio with nic. Does anyone have any experience?

Also, do you know if converted a mixed juice with freebase nic to nic salt is possible?

0.75g of benzoic to 1g of nicotine. Heat at 60c for 20mins.

1:1 will make di-protonated nic and give you a monged out feeling rather than a rush.

100ml of 7.2% nic has 7.2g of nic, so add 4.5g of benzoic crystals and dissolve. Allow a couple hours to protonate.

Once you add 4.5g to the 7.2mg nic does that become 7.2mg nic salts so you just mix same way as normal base but at the nic salts levels. 20mg etc.
