Hi Guys i'm interested to know what would you like to see happening in your local vape shop?

Do you feel they stock the correct products?

Are you happy with the advice you have received from your local vape shop?

Thanks

A better selection of mod brands would help instead of most B&M's sticking to the same few like Innokin, Smok and Kanger, mostly catering to new vapers. For example if I was to ask for recommendations on this forum which mod to buy next you can guarantee our local B&M wouldn't have any of the suggestions.

With tanks being stuck at 2ml now there's really not a whole lot to bring you back to a physical store often enough for it to make a difference, at least not while you can still buy bigger ones online from the Chinese sites.

You're really just left with juice.

Sticking more DIY stuff but they all tend to stat clear of that as they make more money on premade juices. Having just spent the morning looking at squonkers, pre ade coils, cotton, coil building kits, I'd have been going in to my local store right now to buy a lot. If they sold concentrate', VG, PG, nice shots, syringe' etc, I'd happily pay a bit more than I do online if I could just go up and get it. I walked past my local shop the other week with a dark star box trying to hide the thing like it was a porn mag in case they seen it but I just won't be going back to them unless it's an emergency.

hi were i live there are a lot of vape shops so if i cant get what i want in one shop i am not far from a another..

My local B&M is small but spot on. The service is excellent and owner is happy to chat and give advice. Juice selection isn't vast but it's not just your run-of-the-mill options either so there's always something new to try.

If I'm honest, I couldn't really improve what's being offered in the space the vendor has.

An absolute wishlist thing would be a coil building workshop. Possibly out of hours kind of thing. I'd pay to do something like that. Find it more engaging than YouTube videos.

One of the things that stopped me from returning to my local vape shop when I was starting out was the fact that some of the staff were treating vaping as an exclusive club. Giving decent general advice on the products I was buying, but when it came to more in-depth newbie questions (which tank would be great for this mod? How do you make a coil? ), This was when they gently fobbed me off with "check out YouTube". It's the vape social club that bugs me though. The secret society mentality when in reality your a shop?

Staff who know what advice to give and don`t recommend sub ohm tanks with wide bore chimney pots to people who want to or have just quit smoking and shops who do not try fobbing you off with used returns or ex display stuff, also shops with staff who don`t look you up and down with a look of disgust and apathy and a feeling that they want you out of the way asap so they can hotbox the shop with thier best mate who is sitting in a chair with saggy jogging bottoms and a crap hoody he got off the market for £3.99 and staring at you like he wants to punch you in the face, and shops who don`t charge £5.99 for 10ml of juice thats probs worth £2 max. Three of these shops exist in my town out of about 10 so there is hope. Thank fk for the internet and paypal.

A Vape Bar.

A few armchairs, a coffee machine, hire a dripper from the house if you don't have one of your own and try a variety of juices at 20p a squirt or whatever. This could be an excellent marketing tool for making people aware of new products without having to shell out for a whole bottle just to find out if they like it, and the shop gets a better idea of what will sell before they spend a fortune on stock.
