could someone help me with ohms law and tell me what resistance i can use for my battery?
i have 2 samsung 18650 2500mah 3.7v 20-35amp i will only be using one of these in my mech mod and id like to learn more before i used it!

20 amp constant discharge, 4.2v max voltage
4.2/20 = 0.21 ohms

Yeah that only pulls 12 amps from the battery when full, so within safe limits
4.2v / 0.35 ohms = 12 amps

sweet thank you :)

a 0.2 build will draw 21amps at full charge ..... which is getting borderline for safety if you get a stuck button or something.

Unless you know exactly what you are doing, stay on the upper side of that and you won't ever be over-stressing the cell.
