Well, my matey decided that I needed to be brought into the world of higher-wattage vaping (my most powerful mod, the ATP40, just doesn't cut it with some of my builds).

So today we're going out socialising, and he hands me a little goodie bag full of surprises.

First up, the SMY 60.
(Note that the screen isn't displaying the resistance - this is because I'd unscrewed the RDTA partially, to orient it in a more pleasing way for the photo and it's not actually making contact - it's not a fault of the device, which does read the resistance when you actually screw the tank/rda on properly :p)

So far,I love this little device. 60 watts, nice and chunky and a lovely screen. It only takes a single 18650, but the cover's only held on by (strong) magnets so it only takes 10 seconds to swap batteries :).
My only gripe with it is to do with the auto power-off. Leave it unused for a while (you can adjust the amount of time) and it turns off. That's fine that's not a problem. However, you don't bring it back to life with the standard five-click trick. Nope, not only is it auto power off, it's auto lock. So every time it goes to sleep, you have to wake it up by pressing the power up and power down buttons one straight after the other. Pressing them both at the same time doesn't seem to do anything.

It's a minor annoyance, but on the other hand, when it annoys you every time you pick it up it gets a bit grating :p.

That said, it's well built, it looks great, it fires down to 02 ohms, and it's nice and powerful. My first 60w box mod and it's a good one :).

Now, the thing sat on top. This is a Wismec Theorem.

Weird, weird design. It's a hybrid/RDTA. Fill it with 20 or 30 drops of liquid at a time, and the wicks pull it from the "tank section" to the coil. You get the extended time between refills that you'd get with a tank, but you also get the brute force performance you'd get from an RDA. The coil is truly weird, being a prebuilt slotted steel coil, coming out at 0.3 ohms. Plenty of vapour and the taste isn't bad, though (as some of you might have noticed) I replaced the drip tip that came with it with the longer one from my Smok X-pure, as the stock one is a very short drip tip, and it's a very hot vape, especially at 50w+.
But yeah, awesome clouds, good flavour, quirky design, I like it :).

And finally, a bit of a "whoa" moment to continue the scientific theme, my mate threw in an Anarchist/Aria Phenotype RDA.

Now this thing is an absolute beast. This is not built for any other purpose than to rip through your juice stocks, and to make things very foggy!

Look at the size of that bloody drip tip bore!

It does come with an adapter to fit a "normal" sized drip tip so you can change if you want. But this thing is built for clouds and clouds and super clouds. eight huge air slots, sturdy twin-post construction, and a HUGE seperation between the posts.

Look at how far apart those posts are! This thing is designed for BIG super duper nano dragon turbo triceratops coils.

I haven't been able to try this one yet, as the twisted coil that you see there (That my mate nicely built for me to try it out) actually falls below 0.2 ohms, and as a result, the SMY60 wisely says "Nope, I'm not firing that".

I'm going to bang a pair of claptons in it at some point and let you folks know how it goes though.

So yeah, not a bad haul, plentyof new gadgets to be playing with, and it's all new stuff that makes me go "whoa, that's cool". :)

Your friend gave you all that?

I need a new friend.

Are you close to Essex area, If so I can be your friend :) I can't guarantee hauls like the above, but I can guarantee some heavy lifting. (I've got a sleeper wall to build)

@RS250-Squid - Kudos to your pal for sorting you out.

Sadly not @drnick , it's a monstrous track even with the promise of being used as slave labour at the end of the drive! [emoji1]
