Hello All

I just had to withdraw my 303 from sale as I found the fill plug/location pin to be wobbly. I also found an acceptable mod for it.

I've got a reasonable build in it. 6 wraps, 28/29g, 1.15ohm. 24x30mm of #200 with 24x10mm #200sf inner. It's just about keeping up with 70/30.

What could I do to get a better vape. Should I drop to 30g, get the resistance up? Different gauge mesh? Less mesh?

It's really tight space to work in. Might stand a chance at my own AGA challenge...

your wick is too fat mate, 1.5mm coil, roll maybe 7mm wide piece of mesh outer (400) to top of post and just into tank. roll inner wick (300 or 200SF) to fit from bottom of tank to top of post, cut tank end at 45 degrees
pinch top of inner tube. You need space between wick hole and wick for tank to get air. The fill plug is wobbly, it unscrews if necessary (y) I find 5 wraps of 0.25mm kanthal right for me

Cheers. That's useful.

I was aware that the plug unscrewed. My issue is that it won't screw back in properly. It will screw in, but it won't tighten when it's 'home'...

That's a crazy scale to work at. It's only just hollow. Not 2mm?

I did if though...let's see how it settles...

That was dry hit city...

3rd attempt. Built everything up on a 1.5mm drill bit. So there's a definite 1.5mm bore to the wick. Still a gap through the wick hole...coil wrapped round a 2.4mm screw driver...

Working much better.

yep, gap at base of wick/wickhole should allow tank to breathe when top cap on :)
