Khazi Box V2

I made another mod. Fell in love with the Tesla Sub Two - wanted to make something small, mech-like, with decent battery life. Used a 1591XXMSBK and modified a @sledzuk sled. Reused all the components from my original Khazi Mod - which has become a PWM for someone.



It has a chinese "HexOhm" style board in it - which is dodgy as the power goes through the switch. This is just to prototype the idea of using an OKR with a fixed resistor - so the box just puts out 3.7v till the batteries are flat...



Now off to re-implement with decent components.

@domejunky that looks amazing mate, internals look so neat. What enclosure did you use?

A Hammond 1551XXMSBK, slightly bigger, ABS version of the 1550P.

Wiring is getting better with practice.

To be honest though, it's only 1mm shorter than the WideBoy from modmaker. With that I'd have lost the Hammond lean; been able to use a proper keystone sled; and had a nicely finished aluminium case. The Hammond is only £3odd, so a 5th the price of a WideBoy which helps when you attack it with a dremmel.

I can only imagine it's a good feeling to turn your spares into this. Looks great though, an okl or raptor chip in that would be amazing. Great work.

I should use a MOSFET really. Although the Chinese 'HexOhm V3' doesn't. I'm keeping it under 3 amps though...
