Hi everyone, I'm a journalist seeking a vaper who never used to smoke before in the UK. I'd love to hear about your experience for an article and ideally you wouldn't mind getting photographed for the piece. Please get in touch (please pm for email)

The majority on here are all X smokers and we don't condone picking up a vape if they have never smoked.
May be a good idea to look elsewhere for the dirt almost all journalists are trying to dig up against vaping at the moment.

PS this was the very clean version from what I had originally typed as I don't want to get banned.

Maybe @Mawsley can add to this.

Why a previous non-smoker?

Vaping is for smokers and all of the studies show that almost all vapers use vaping to reduce tobacco use or switch completely.

I see absolutely no value in an article that focusses on something like this.

Will it include statements from PHE, ASH UK, CRUK, the Royal Colleges of GPS and Physicians, etc.? Or will it make a point of referencing the THC-related incidents in the States? I suspect I could write it now.

The last two articles on vaping:

The Times calling PHE “reckless” - the abject imbecility of this defies comment
https://www.thetimes.co.uk/article/...tchdogs-reckless-attitude-to-vaping-tv7d68mjw

The Times helping to create a British-based fear - yey, you amoral cockends
https://www.thetimes.co.uk/article/vaping-death-raises-fears-for-3m-britons-cgfp773z8

I’ll say again, the main news outlets don’t give a flying fuck about the facts and evidence in tobacco harm reduction, they don’t give a second thought to the lives that will be lost from vilifying something that is 98% safer than smoking. They care about web page hits and click through revenue.

I can't read the articles because paywall - but from the headlines they've probably been regurgitated in the metro or the mail by now (or that was the source anyway).

I am a Vaper, that never ever smoked before in the Uk.
When I took up Vaping, I thought, "Sweet, Clouds, artificial smoke, all in that order, then layed down under some gum trees and watched the Kangas frolic! :)2
Ahh, the Kangaroos, babies in pouches, carrying posies of flowers, jumping, frolicking and drinking VB without a care in the world!
You are asking about Vape dreams right!? o_O
