Zeus x mesh problems

I must have been so lucky when I put my 1st ever mesh in, tasted great
Since then problems, I have tried to rewick, tastes burnt after a very short time, maybe I am packing too tight, I just don’t know
Put a new mesh in this afternoon, wicked, in no time, burnt taste again
It’s a .2 k1 mesh, Vaping, started off at 20 watts increased to 30, no good
Please, can someone tell me what I am doing wrong

Still on my #1 mesh build but suspect hot spots and an uneven heat up in the mesh pehaps??

did you lower power test burn and strum out any uneven heat up?

As above it looks like you've pushed the mesh strip out of shape.
Take it out and reshape it with the tool before reinstalling, pulsing on 15w and clearing the crud and any hot spots before rewicking.

Cotton should be tighter than a nuns chuff.

As above as tight as possible in the coil.

I can see the problem straight off, the mesh has been kinked, slim to no chance of salvaging it, this has happened to me before, even if you flatten it out there will still be a hotspot where the kinks were, simpler to replace the mesh.

Try not to touch the mesh at all when wicking it.

Just reviewing this superb RTA, best Mesh RTA I've tried so far and the easiest to wick.

Also agreed on both counts. I am not a huge mesh guy. Did not like the profile and did like the Unity, but not enough to mourn if somebody stole it. Kylin M, not as much as the Unity, but ok.

I already had a Zeus X, which was good, but a pain to wick, and picked up the mesh deck for it.

SUPERB!

Without a doubt the best of the mesh atomizers I've tried. Like you say, easiest to get the wicking right and bursting with flavor. No dry hits at all. With the regular deck if you didn't the wicking right it would flood and slurp.
