need a new mod....advice welcome

Armour pro is a single battery mod which can take 3 different battery sizes 18650 (with included adaptor) 20700 or 21700 with a range up to 100w, the polar is a dual battery mod 2x 18650 batteries and goes up to 220w not that you would need that wattage, the batteries would last longer in the polar, heres a couple of pics, armour with a falcon tank on and the polar with the freemax mesh pro

both great mods. as the armour is a single battery it can be charged in the mod but dual battery mods are best charged on an external charger.

if you do decide on either buy batterys here https://www.fogstar.co.uk/

ps. for safety reasons DO NOT charge batteries overnight.

Also if you're going down the external battery route then fogstar are very good, depending which mod you went for this charger would do for both 18650 and 21700 size, it's the one I use

If you went with the armour pro then I'd get a couple of 21700 so you can charge one while using the other any of these

https://www.fogstar.co.uk/collections/batteries/21700

If going for the polar then I would get 2 pairs of either these

Or these

Thanks for the detailed info, really appreciate it.

I now know exactly what i need for each mod, but cant decide which one!!

I will be ordering one or the other tonight, along with the other items from fogstar, thanks for the discount code.

So, which one would you go for......polar or armour pro.

Depends what you're doing with it, the armour is a bit more pocket friendly if out and about with it, the polar fires a bit quicker and the batteries will last longer, the other thing is that if getting the armour from UK it will come with a 2ml tank which is shit you will be refilling it every few minutes, if going for a different tank then no worries, the polar comes with a 6ml tank when you pull the rubber bung out

I have both so couldn't really say which one more down to which one you like the look of, polar is a bit heavier than the armour

Armour Pro for me. I prefer the shape, the smaller screen, the fact it’s more compact, at 20w you’re still going to get plenty of battery life. Vaporesso make excellent mods, I have a Tarot Nano, one of their older mods. You won’t go wrong with either of those :5:

Sorry just read your original post, these are both sub ohm tanks so direct to lung rather than mouth to lung draw, from them and you will go through juice a fair bit, you could always get the armour pro and get a mouth to lung type tank, if that was the case I'd go with the armour mod only and go with a different tank unless you want to go direct to lung type of vaping

Just seen that you are after the mod only as you're happy with your tank then I would deffo go with the armour pro

£35 from vaping101 but looks like it's cheaper off the link you posted

I currently use an innokin isug g tank (3.8 ml) with 1.0ohm coils. Ive got 0.5ohm coils, but prefer the 1.0.
I would say i do a mixture of dtl and mtl with my current tank sep up, 20w with airflow half open for dtl, and 16w with airflow just say open for mtl. I do go through a fair bit of liquid, probably 20 - 30ml per day.
But tonight, ive dropped the the base of the tank (the bit the coil fits in) when filling it and knocked it out of shape. Ive tried to make it round again, but its not quite right so wont go over the rim of the glass tank.

If you see the falcon on mine in the picture that's 25.2mm diameter so any tank up to 25mm in diameter will fit on the armour no problem so whatever tank you like but at that wattage 21700 batteries will last ages anyway, so now all you need to do is decide on a tank, I don't really mtl so cant really recommend any

The I-sub B is the latest incarnation of the Isub tanks, if you want to stick with the same coils, but update the look.
