Looking for a decent multi-port travel adapter

In my experience; pay the extra. When it comes to electrical items, you get what you pay for. I'd rather pay for a quality branded item and know it's gonna give me value for money in the long wrong. Going cheap never pays off. Not in my own experience anyway. I paid £30 for an 8 socket USB hub and it's worth every penny. Could have spent £11 but I guarantee it would have broke already. I stopped trying to skimp on electrics a long time ago. Just my 2c. YMMV.

Okay, here's my 2 cent. I literally just bought a travel adaptor a week ago because we're going to italy in 2 weeks.

Don't cheap out. Buy either an Anker (i think they're called power plug 4 or something like that), or the one we've bought, this one. Edit: ugh, can't link it directly for some reason. Check Amazon for this one:

www.amazon.co.uk/Charger-RAVPower-Adaptor-Interchangeable-Certified-Black/dp/B01M6VEIFU/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1534533884&sr=8-3&keywords=ravpower+4+40w

Quite nifty, charger can be used three ways - two sleeves, and one cable. It just slots into the sleeve to work as wall charger with either UK or EU plug (both included), or via cable (UK plug included) so you can use it at home on your desk to charge. Feels quality, too. If you don't like that one, get any of https://www.anker.com/. Anker is well known to be quality.

edit: the one you linked, the fone stuff one - judging by the reviews, potentially deadly flaws with the socket, reviewers saying it charges macbooks too (which it physically can't).. Nah.

Sorry for that one, i just can't directly link it for some reason - link just creates a black space in the posting. Goes for 18.99.

If you have trouble posting links try dropping the http:// from the address so the link starts with www. Amazon links can be funny that way.

Cheers mate, that was it.

edit: the Anker ones are called PowerPort 4 and PowerPort Speed 4.

I got one of the Syncwire ones For my last trip. Worked like a charm.

I have a few Anker products. I need it for UK, EU, US and China so I need a few more plugs. The ones I'm looking at are a similar price. Macbooks don't accept charging over USB, and the wattage is much too low, none of them can.
