Help finding a decent tank

Well, typically the idea is to watch the reviews first but whatever floats your boat. Like i said, if air flows thru that middle hole its going to be really airy.
The OFRF Gear has quite many positive reviews.

Good luck with the rta rabbit hole! Once you get 1 tank, you soon collect more.
I find the mesh rta I have a little easier than the dual coils. Single coils are in between. It’ll just come down to what you feel more comfortable doing.
As has already been said above, stock coils are quick and easy, but can cost a lot more than building your own. Rather than change the whole coil, you just change the wick.

Thank you all for your help!
I hope it's just a rabbit hole, and not a money pit :)

Now I have to educate myself on coils, cottons, etc Any advice or links welcome.

It’s going to be an experiment with these too. Everyone will have their own favourites for varying reasons and you will also find your own. I don’t know the tank, but try a multi pack of different types of coils (I think they are called a coil wheel). You get a big choice of coils to try and work out what you prefer for future purchases.
For cotton I prefer cotton gods or the wotofo xfiber laces. Again it’s what you find will work for you.

Best thing to get is a mesh RTA, no faffing about, saying that there isn't much faffing about with normal coils, rebuildable ftw

Its a rabit hole as deep as you want to dig,

If going into mech mods then learning ohms law is mandatory ..
With regulated mods its only very useful ;) as the mods smarts work for you..
SIngle coil builds just need to be within the mods ability to use ..
Dual coil builds DO REQUIRE equally balanced coils so buy in or wrap identical coils..

probably best to start off with A1 0.4mm 5-8x round 2.5-3mm aiming at 0.5ohm an online coil calc.design tool
like https://www.steam-engine.org/coil , can help you refine based on mandrill size etc..

thicker stiffer wire with a large diameter for easy threading..

should be a robust starter coil and stand up to a bit of wick abuse ;)

But if your atty ships with a coil. USE THAT to get vaping asap (post atty wash..)

cotton is cotton raw unbleached japanese muji pads are sold at a premium in packs of 5x 10x 20x etc by vape vendors
buy a bag for less than a fiver/(tenner with pnp)
https://www.muji.eu/pages/online.asp?Sec=17&Sub=70&PID=4479
you can spend a lot more I think on packaging and marketing, but thats just my opinion.

i went on a bit sorry

Any advice or links welcome.

Advice? Don't rush things!

Get a great mesh RTA like the Profile Unity, take it apart, learn how it functions... then build it properly and enjoy!

You'll soon want to try another. I have 4 so far, 2 for squonking (RDA)...

It becomes a... hobby disguised as harm reduction! :21::12:

All those guys are trying to take you to the dark side. :D

If you stay in the light, have a look here (I did a ODC hunt):

Pretty much a compìlation of the best sub-ohm tanks ever created to date. But read the full thread.
IMO, a Falcon compatible tank will do the trick. Something more moderated? A Fireluke 2/3. Something more powerful? A M Pro /2 itselft or compatible.

And, if you have many spare coils from the cerberus (and you want to take advantage of them), have a look here:
