I have a plug and usb cable which came with an aspire k3 ages ago. I have just ordered an aspire variable voltage battery 1600mah.

Can I use the plug head itself with the new vv cable.

I always panic with electrics .

Thank you.

I need to have a bit of a vent so apologies in advance.

I remember looking at vape products 10 years ago but not actually buying anything. Now I really love the idea of vaping and can't wait to get back into it. I have found over the last week that us basic vapers just don't seem to matter.

You go into a vape shop and the shelves are filled with gear and liquid that is all about the experienced vapour. The shop will be your best friend if you want to blow enough smoke to need fog lights to see in front of you, but for people like me it's limited. I went into a packed shop today and when I asked for a 50/50 liquid I felt like I had just grown another head!!

I bought the Aspire charger and asked the question I posted above. The problem was when it came through the post I looked for the charging port and couldn't find it. I realised it must have a different charger so looked on line for one. Could I find one - of course I didn't. Yet again I can find a whole host of chargers for box things that have enough lights to land a jumbo jet but for my little battery nothing. How is this battery being sold but nobody thinks to tell you how to charge it.

This industry needs to really start thinking about the "little guy." I might not be able to puff through my mega box mod and blow smoke rings out my backside but I'm still a customer.

I shouldn't have to come here to ask about a bloody charger, the website should tell me what charger, coils etc go with that item.

STOP THINKING WE'RE ALL EXPERTS!!!!!!!!

Hi @Michellec
the high streets have been flooded by stores selling ecigs because they know there is money to be made. find a decent store and they are a font of knoledge but then there are some cowboys out there who are only there to make a quick buck.
in the past weve had new member join asking about buying their first kit. weve given them advice and theve gone of to their local store and come back with a mech mod which has no protection and are for professional users who understand ohms law and battery safety. its sad to hear but there is not a lot we can do about it xcept give out advice on here and hope it helps.

now your battery is as far as i can remember second generation so around 3 years old. shops are just not going to stock this sort of older kit.
after a quick search aspire uk has 2 of them but no information on the page to which batteries it fits so i checked the usa site. this is what i found but still cant gaurantee its the right one as there is no charger for the 1600mah battery. i know there are quite a few on here who used to use this kit so hopefully they can clarify the right charger.

MrDj I only bought the battery this week so it's frustrating I won't be able to buy a charger for it.

the plug and cable that came with your k3 kit will charge your new one fine , any 0.5 amp usb socket will work, to charge it
