Ah so like i mentioned on Saturday, My degree was in Psychology specialising in psychopharmacology. One of my modules was understanding the autism spectrum and it was really amazing as it's something i wasn't really to aware of before. AUTISM SPEAKS had a forum for parents to help each other understand and learn the different techniques to aid individuals. So we spent a lot of time talking with other parents to help create a informative poster that was interactive for helping people understand the spectrum. Letting them know where to get information, support networks etc so it was great to hear first hand experiences to try as pass on to the masses. So many parents had struggled to find the right info so it was amazing to help them connect with others in a similar position. I love the brain! The way it functions, the ways it encounters cognitive obstacles, the way it deals with them, the way it reacts under substance, situations etc its such a flexible part of our boy and its ability to degenerate/ regenerate its like Narnia but everyones different interpretation. Don't get me started i will start posting essays!!
