Hi everyone. yes l'm a newbie only been vaping for a couple of weeks and my problem is flavour, l tried some premixed liquids and was really disappointed so l got some diy gear and even at 20% of flavouring it's still only a very faint taste, l have a couple of generic ego 900's bought in a kit and an ego twist 900, and Kanger T2 clearomizers with 1.5 and 1.8 ohm heads, mixing 50 50 VG and PG most of the time at 18 mg but l have tried a full PG with no noticeable improvement, can anyone give me any tips please :)

How many weeks have you been vaping?

For up to about 12 weeks, your tastebuds will be playing up, theyre going to like something one second, hate it the next and in 3 months time, like it again. Youre body is going through a drastic healing phase once you have rid the ciggies completely.... remember 4000 some odd chemicals down to about 5...it does make the body go a lil funny.

Check out this link http://www.planetofthevapes.co.uk/forums/showthread.php/1075-Side-effects-of-vaping this is some first hand experiences from some of our members.

Don't be afraid to try new flavours, sometimes the strongest are the best option in the beginning. Also, try some menthol to rekick your taste buds back into action if flavours are tasting muted.

Btw Welcome to the Planet :)

Definitely what was said above...and also, some flavours can vary wildly in their perceived "strength" depending what it is, ie: BubbleGum vs. Coffee etc

and also taking into account the different brands of flavour concentrates - they can vary between themselves, 20% of BrandX might be acceptable but the same % of BrandY might make you sick.

Keep testing & mixing small test amounts and see how it goes....it can take quite a bit of experimentation to find your preferred mix.
