Rumour has it, this is a premiere watering hole for all things vaping, so I thought I’d give it a go. I registered here as “BammBamm”, but for the sake of brevity, and to save you all the extra four keystrokes when giving me what-for, my interweb friends, frenemies, et al typically call me “Bamm”.
I hail from Wichita, Kansas, oftentimes referred to as “The Air Capital of the World”, given our rich aviation history. F’rinstance, here’s a link to a video (taken by yours truly) of one of only two Boeing B-29 Superfortresses flying today, “Doc”, built right here in Wichita, in March of 1945:
Right. So I began vaping circa 2011-ish. My first investment was a pen-type unit, a Janty eGo. In my humble estimation, a fine piece of equipment indeed, and it currently remains in my arsenal. Alas, I found it to be somewhat tedious, having to continually drip the little cartridges, and soon returned to patronizing Big Tobacco.
Fast-forward to Tuesday, September 12, 2017. Having become increasingly concerned about the rising cost of cigarettes (around 7 USD for my brand), I visited a local vape shop, and was extremely impressed with their inventory. So much so, in fact, that I picked up a Wismec Reuleaux RX Gen3 and a UWELL Crown III tank, as well as two of their house blends of juice. Granted, I could have saved a fair amount by buying the equipment online, and ended up spending $240 that day, but I have no reservations whatsoever in doing so. These guys know their stuff and, being the n00bish sub-ohm vaper that I am, they answered every single question I could throw at them with aplomb. In addition, the particular shop I haunt sports a “buy one, get one (almost) free” sale, every Tuesday, so it’s by sheer, blind, dumb luck that I visited them on that fateful day.
tl/dr: I’m a complete sub-ohm vaping newbie, and will likely ask a plethora of inane questions, so please feel free to LOL, chortle, chuckle, and/or snicker at yours truly at the drop of a hat.
