What do I input onto Steam-engine for clapton coils...

...where the wires are different sizes?.

For example a Clapton coil?. It asks for the diameter of the wire but only has one field?.

So If I had a kanthal Clapton for example & it was 26 core wrapped in 32 for arguments sake, what am I inputting?. 26 or 32?.

And for an Alien too?.

I'm just starting out making my own coils & using a mech so initially for the safety aspect I don't want to go lower than 0.2 Ohms.

Click on the Wire Wizard tab. Claptons are in the drop down. There's no specific settings for Aliens far as I know, you'd have to do a best fit or a bit of testing.

i always thought you just use the cores and put them in parralel for fused, 3 strands for alien etc? but then again you wouldnt get accurate heat flux info with just that
