So here's a guide for installing a varitube on the rx200s, would be the same for the rx200 aswell I'd have thought

So firstly the tools needed
Drill with 10mm bit
Soldering iron
Small Phillips
T5 torx if I remember correctly
Dremel or similar
Small vise (not needed just easier)
Craft knife (not needed but handy for poking wires etc)
Some form of thread lock (I used super glue)
Small spanner to tighten the nut on the varitube (I used pliers)

Start by unscrewing the 4 screws in the battery tray

That will remove the face plate

Then the 2 torx at the top and bottom of the mod

Then remove the screw in the top left of the battery tray, slightly to the right of it is a small white foam piece which needs removing to show a screw underneath aswell. Remove that screw aswell

Now on the front of the mod remove the black screw

Then we need to bust out the soldering iron and heat up this solder to remove the wire. It will just slide out from the side

Then desolder the red and black wire

Now you can pull out the battery tray

Now you have access to the 510 connector
Desolder that

And remove the black screw in the top right

Now you can remove the board which leaves just the metal frame

Drill that hole out! (10mm)

Then using the dremel grind off the raise semi circles to flatten it out, you don't have to be to neat here. Remove the sharp edges and smooth out the hole aswell whilst you're at it

Then you need to remove this chunk of metal from the inside

Next solder the negative from the board onto the gold ring that comes with the varitube

Replace the fire button

Then reinstall the board, replacing the 2 black screws (one front, one back)

Insert the varitube, and place the gold ring with the nut on. Align the top of the 510 to how you want and tighten down

On the varitube there is a screw that comes through the bottom gold contact, make sure that sits flush and solder the positive wire onto it.
You should be looking like this....

Now we need to grind away the back of the battery tray

Just go slow and steady here and you can get away without going all the way through. Keep grinding away slowly until it fits in. Itll be tight
Also make sure you remove enough material for the gold bottom of the connector to travel down a few mm for clearance
At this point once you are happy everything fits nicely loosen the nut on the 510 and apply thread lock and retighten. Making sure it's tight.
Or as I did just apply loads of super glue to the threads and nut.

Refit the battery tray and reverse the steps of taking it apart
Resoldering the 3 wires on the front of the board. Just melting the solder and reseating them is plenty
And job done!

Nice work dude! Did you stuff the left of the rx top plate? Or is it just a bad pic?

Yeh pretty much, showed the misses my handy work and missed the table to put it down. Rage ensued haha think the rum had kicked in -_-
