Android app only works with VPN on 4G ?

Hi,

I am a new user and noticed that I am unable to load anything on the mobile app on 4G ( oneplus 6) unless I connect the VPN ( surfshark) .
On wifi all is fine . Am I missing something ?

The mai page with categories loads but all I select load continuosly. If I receive a push notification from the app and click on it it throws an error. ( Forgot to do a screenshot).

The fact that it works fine on WiFi points to your mobile network blocking "adult" sites, and deeming POTV to be one of them.

You need to get them to turn off the adult filter.

One plus works perfectly for last three years for me on Vodafone.
As above most networks default the child protection filter to on. you need to ring them to get it turned off.

Logged to my EE account and found moderate protection on )) had no idea that it was on and strangely never had any issues with anything before . Turned it off and will see how it behaves after I restart the phone. Thank you guys.

Think that's only local and you still have to contact them by phone to have it fully unlocked otherwise with techy kids these days they will just unlock and go porn hunting.

Seems to be working as I am now on 4g without vpn.

Oh wow, cell phone providers block adult content automatically over there? You have to ask them to do that here, or get an ad blocker for your phone so you don't accidentally get redirected to a site you don't wanna get directed to.

It is a default setting when you get a contract, set to medium, mostly to keep bad stuff away, and I dont think they block adult stuff as long is a known site. Adult stuff is under parental control that is separate from this one. Funny though that I never had issue with anything until now

BT Mobile blocks also until you deactivate adult content. I swear POTV was the only reason
