How did you wrap it? Every time I tried the coils sort of spiraled out of shape as soon as it came off the rod :S

I used a cable tie, make the first bend and then pinch it closed with some pliers...and repeat.

they do take some wrangling when you tighten the screws in the posts but just keep tweaking with the ceramic tweezers.

In regards to wicking, they do take a fair bit of cotton, rather than twist the end of the cotton to feed it through just try to flatten it out, I do have to use tweezers to pull it through the coil.

Interesting, might give it another shot, was it actually wrapped around the cable tie?! lol

Yep! It was the only thing I had that was a rectangle and around the right size, I was using a Twisted Messes 30mm RDA so I used a fairly big cable tie but I have used that shape of coil in a Vandy Vape Kylin & Limitless RDTA.

I had a cable tie that I'd cut for some reason so I started to use the part just after the tapered end and wrapped it round that, as you have to pinch the wire it can be a bit of a sod to get off the tie but if you stick close to the tapers section it makes it easier to remove.

Thats what I found... found a few things that were a good size to wrap round but never realised how smooth the coilmaster rods are until you try sliding a wrapped coil off something else, nightmare lol

I looked at other shapes and what I wanted to do is minimise the lower pressure that normally happens in a round coil so most of the surface has cooling air rush over it, once you nail it they are very good.

Sorry for the slow reply dude, it's called pixlr from the android app store

hey man, yeah I actually found it, I tried on Pixlr but ended up using Snapseed, found it could do the same effect but the rest of the app seemed to have a little more to it. Made some trial pics...
