Any legal guys/gals on here???

Can understand your thought process ect and feelings about it. I would feel exactly the same. However, company policy is company policy and a lot of firms are writing vaping into the same policy as smoking. Whilst I don't agree with this, you're on private company owned land and the company obviously has a policy about it.

Whilst we know the health benefits to vaping, a lot of people don't and just because we vape, doesn't make us elite and above rules within the workplace.

I treat vaping as I would smoking. Wherever I couldn't smoke, I wouldn't vape. This is what causes animosity between smokers and vapers. Why should we be treated any different in their eyes.

Until more is known about vaping and the fact that there is no health risk to second hand vape smoke and all he other positive gubbings, unfortunately I'd stick by the rules for now and try not to cause animosity. Thats my personal opinion about it, don't hold it against me.
