Pilot "Smoking" an ecig.

Should've just wound the window down

right, but why blame the gun when they should be blaming the shooter?

If the incident was the result of him smoking, drinking, masturbating or looking at porn, they would have mentioned these as well. They don’t seem to be blaming vaping in any way, rather they are blaming the pilot for vaping, and trying to hide it.

I often wonder why people take any notice of media bullshit after all we will continue to vape on come what may. I understand we like to stick up for vaping but there's a time and place for it when it matters.
We can't convert everyone to see the truth and never will because Big T's money talks. The solution is a total ban on "smoking", which will never happen.
I also heard the author of said article was glad the plane did not crash as it would have upset him due to the fact there was 9 unoccupied seats.

As much as smoked is the wrong word, I actually dislike the word vape and I'm loathed to say I'm going for a vape when the situation arises.

Cue alot of really weird explanations of what I'm off to do.

I'm going for a puff
I'm going for a toot
I'm off to the loo (blantent lie)

I just dunno what it is with the word vape that I dislike.

If the pilot had been masturbating, would you expect the media not to mention that? This article isn’t anti vaping, or propaganda, it’s an article about an idiot pilot vaping while flying a passenger plane, trying to conceal the vapour and pressing the wrong button.

Why are people moaning about this, did you even read it?

Would you have supported a total ban on smoking when you still smoked?

That's irrelevant due to the fact that there would have been sod all we could do about it, like there is sod all we can do about getting cannabis fully legalised. We can't make the rules up we delegate people with little or no knowledge of what they are doing to make the choice for us.

Would i have supported a ban on smoking when i smoked?. I sort of had to, they banned smoking on buses and later on all public indoor spaces. I thought it was a good idea to be honest. But none of us would have spent a fortune, became addicted to nicotine or suffered health issues if tobacco had never been legalised in the first place and that is the Governments fault. Adult smokers are the gateway to kids smoking and the cycle continues through generations. Kids do it to impress peers rebel, or look cool and grown up. Making tobacco illegal would cut down on how many people smoked, i say that as there would still be underground tobacco sales, just like anything illegal. But a lot of people who smoke would not want to be part of that or worry about what chemicals had been added to the tobacco . I could go back to smoking and save money, i can get 50grams of amber leaf for a fiver where i live that would last me a week i can get fags for £2 for 20.. Some e liquid costs £5 for 10ml . I used 30ml a week as a mtl vaper when i began vaping so the tobacco is still cheaper than vaping, apart from i have made my own juice for over 3 years so vaping is about the same cost unless i buy some hardware .

But you were talking about a total ban on smoking. I highly doubt that when you were a smoker you would have supported a total ban on smoking. I do t smoke any more, but I certainly wouldn’t support a total ban on smoking. Smells a bit like the temperance movement to me. Would you totally rule out supporting a total ban on vaping if at some point in the future you stop doing it?

Short answer no i would not support anti vaping or a ban, a) i don't intend on stopping as i have invested to much money on vapegear, plus it is a hobby. b) Because smoking kills vaping as far as we know doesn't unless some fool uses a mech without learning about ohm's law etc. c) i enjoy vaping to much.
I don't have a problem with those who choose to smoke, they are all victims of greed and it isn't none of my business. A total ban would just make more smokers quit or take up vaping and that can be life saving after all that is why most of us vape.
Temperance movement are a decent band by the way sadly i am not a member
