I am disappointed that PHE is being shut down.
They're not perfect, but I was glad that they had the backbone to stand behind the science and continue to promote vaping as a safer alternative to tobacco amid the media circus and hoo har.
Plus it seems to me they got their funding cut massively over the last few years and are now being used as a covid scapegoat because they lacked the resources to deal with it properly.
Plus I suspect this is the route via which the NHS opens itself up to private initiatives.
