Letters to Jacob Rees-Mogg?

Was wondering if anybody else thinks that it would be worthwhile to write to Jacob Rees-Mogg , in response to his recent call in The Sun for ideas on harmful EU regulations that we can now abolish from our own UK laws as a result of Brexit?

The obvious subject would be the crap EU TPD regulations on max 10ml fluid bottles, max 2ml tanks, and max 20mg/ml nicotine strength, all of which have made vaping more difficult, more of a hassle, and less accessible.
The government conducted a consultation exercise to inform its redrafting of the TRPR - the regs applied to vaping. The TRPR has been delayed over and over because this government is a pile of screamingly inept chancers on the personal make.

Trade bodies, consumer groups, harm reduction experts, researchers and academics have all fed into the process. The government has all the facts and evidence at its disposal.

Mood music is: nic limit will remain, tank size increased, juices bottle to 30ml, shortfills to have to undergo testing and registration like nic-containing liquids, therefore price hike to shortfills, no additional sin tax at the moment.

As shortfills don't contain nicotine they don't have to comply with TPD regs on e-liquid bottles containing nicotine. However they do have to comply with the General Product Safety Regulations which requires lab testing to ensure they are safe to be placed on the market.
