That would explain what folks say regarding salt slowing steeping!

If that theory is right about salt inhibiting steeping it would imply that salt would be less satisfying in the longer term as the metabolism would break it down more quickly than a well steeped standard nic liquid. If it’s right enough that steeping involves nic reacting with compounds in the flavour concentrated and becoming partially oxidised, that is.
I don't think I want to irreversibly inhibit my CYP2A6.
Why not? It attenuates nicotine withdrawal.
Who knows what else it does? It might negatively affect your libido, or ability to do the backstroke.
Could it be that they are Michael acceptors...?
