Have these people ever even heard of tobacco harm reduction?

The nanny state is at it again, this time having a pop at traditional asian products: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-19718643

Regardless of wether the prodcuts contain tobacco/nicotine, they aren't being combusted so the risks associated with inhaling burnt tobacco are negated.

Tobacco, alcohol, food, freedom of expression .... I'm sick to death of the 'powers that be' trying to micro manage and control every aspect of my life, whilst at the same time preaching that people need to take more responsibility for themselves. If they'd feck off and let us make our own decisions without interfering then maybe we could.

It's crazy! I can sort of understand actual smoking with passive smoking, but stuff like this is an infringement of personal rights. It should be down to the individual to choose what they put in their own body as long as it doesn't affect anyone else!
