e cig lights up an elderly lady in a hospital bed, (sky news).. they are investigating but apparently the little heating element inside the e cigarette has set fire to the oxygen...

Yep.. the media machine in full flow to fuel public hysteria and whip up support for rapid implementation of restrictions.

Those new powers for ministers to impose restriction that were shoehorned in with the chidren and families bill come into force in June iirc.

I wonder just how much of a frenzy can be whipped up by then to justify rapid, sweeping restrictions? After all, that tobacco duty revenue is shrinking daily and needs to be stemmed asap.
