What I don’t understand is this (apart from nuclear physics), is this guy has a pocket that is potentially going to explode, this pocket is pretty close to the “family jewels” yet he wants to take his boots of then his trousers, fuck that, get that pocket as far as possible from the nut sack as possible, ie ankles or shins, then take the feckin boots off.

Maybe a torch but power tool batteries are encased in plastic and walkmans use AAs, no?. The link to vaping is obvious. His girlfriend’s obviously not just given him very good advice.

Rechargeable AAs can cause just as much damage. Though it's decades ago. A pro friend, workin for the Hitchin Comet, dropped a battery magazine for his flash in his pocket. ShortLy after it shorted on loose change in his trouser pocket. He had second a degree burn, on this leg, just south of his pride and joy. the difference here is we all laughed at him for being a tit. Not one of the assembled press boys even mentioned that the batteries might be at fault.
A nicad or metal hydride 9v battery can cause massive damage if shorted too.
