18-year-old college student's lung COLLAPSED after vaping Juul pods

What's shocking is that if anything cigarettes would be more likely to cause what that lad describes than vaping, what with the countless number of chemicals in them.

Of more concern is the fact that the article doesn't even mention what the black spots are - no medical terminology or definition, no definitive proof of causation, nothing.

What concerns me, is the Daily Fail putting a load of bollocks together to sell papers with fake news.
A pneumothorax requires a a needle or small incision to insert a chest drain, very rarely does it require surgery so the photos of the surface of the lung in the article don't stack up for me.
The small 'black spots' are Blebs. These probably cause the pneumothorax and could be down to a number of things, including hereditary.

My son had two pneumothoraxes and where we all got a bit of a fright, it fair got him off the stinkies...;)

Just fuel for the fire. It wouldn't surprise me if this will lead to the FDA passing legislation for closed systems. I'm glad that I have enough systems to get me well into the future.

I don't believe it was caused by vaping, but my lung collapsed in 2017. Reading these stories does make me think could it of been that? Or was it that I had pancreatitis and was nearly dying hmmmm

It was definitely the vaping.

My left dip headlight bulb failed last week, that was because of vaping too I reckon.

Aaaand a few months ago I got a puncture in my pushbike tyre - vaping again.

My wife reads that shit and believes it.
My ears get bled every time and I'm sick of it, can they just not be honest instead of bringing vaping into the mire of synthesised illegal drugs.
Synthesised and not so synthesised drugs have been associated with tobacco products since God was a boy and they're busy legalising that everywhere now.

I dunno, the facts are blinded by money and greed.

If she isn’t a three-star Michelin chef with the oral skills of a porn star, divorce her.

I wanted to point out from my previous post I was joking and do not believe it was vaping related. It was because I was so ill from pancreatitis and on a high dependency unit I could not breath properly due to the pain, so the lung collapsed.

Nothing to do with vaping at all, it was caused as I was an alcoholic who is now in recovery again.
