Quick update, despite loads of water, nearly full pg mixes (my nic is in vg) and lower nic levels the headaches persist but a little less intense, so docs on Weds and will report back then, l'm not giving up vaping l'll find a way round it somehow :|

  3. what is your nic level and how much did you smoke before? You could be having withdrawal headaches/overdose headaches.

I also have had headaches on certain juice and when I get them I switch to a different juice and they tend to go, there is no connection as some have the same pg/vg mix and can be of a similar flavour.

That aside I would always suggest you seek a specialist opinion on the headaches as its always best to get a professional opinion.

Have the headaches started since you have started new juice or have they started with a juice you always have.

Just got back from the doc's so to close this out he said he's 'absolutely delighted' (his words) at what l'm doing and the vg won't make a big difference to my sugar levels so a blood test in 6 weeks will check that and he'd be surprised if he needs to even adjust my meds once l've settled on the vaping but if he does he's more than happy tp do that and keep me vaping happily :) the other doc is a prat and l won't be seeing him again, l should say this is my regular doc and diabetes is his pet subject. So in conclusion l just needed to get confirmation from him and all your advice was spot on, big thanks too all on POTV :)

Oh as for the headaches he said it's probably just a reaction to the changes going on in my body due to all the crap from stinkies being absent and (as advised on here) drink more water :)

I'm going to have a rethink on the above quote made a few months ago. I have been a T2 Diabetic for the past couple of years and taken tablet medication to control my sugars without problems. Over recent months, I have tended to go towards 50/50 mixes and in the last 6 weeks, my blood sugars are uncontrollable. As well as my tablets, I was started on insulin injections about 4/5 weeks ago and still cant control my levels.

Considering that with insulin or tablet use, your blood sugar levels should be in normal range, 2 hours after a meal, yesterday I conducted a test and didn't eat for 24 hours. I took my tablets and injection and so in theory, this morning I should have been very low with the need to boast up my sugars. So 24 hours after I stopped eating, I took a blood test and found myself SIX times over the "normal level". This has got to be down to vaping I'm sure.

So i'm going to have a read up, immediately go to 80/20 PG/VG and see what that does.

I don't know anything about the subject, accept it's about sugars.
But some juices have sweeteners in them, Ethyl Matol for instance. Would one of these affect blood sugars in anyway.
Also nicotine does have an effect on the metabolic rate, which also might need investigation.

    Hi LL
Firstly, I should say that I would never advise fasting when on insulin, you don't want to be having a hypo....,
The effect that you describe may not be down to vaping, -I would suspect that it could be that your liver has released its energy store,- glucagon, to counteract the fact that you are not eating, hence you are seeing a far higher blood glucose reading than you would expect.

Type 2 diabetic results since vaping(no cigs) after smoking for 44years
    Cholesterol coming down
    Hi blood pressure coming down
    Blood sugars coming down
this was after 6 months of vaping, after checking on line about Ejuice for 5 mins the Doc said at my last appointment 'carry on vaping' it is doing you good but check your levels more often because at the rate I,m going they may have to lower my tablets before the next appointment.Different Peeps react in different ways I spose
