Hello everyone, just noticed on my innokin coolfire tc100 when I charge it, there is some squeezing/hissing sort of sound coming from where the usb lead sits in the whole, is it still ok to use?

Thanks in advance for any help

I'm no expert but I'm gonna say no. Given that the device is electrical, I would assume something is seriously wrong. I'm guessing there isn't any smoke? Any weird smells at all?

I have one elfin mod that occasionally does the same, but only when I charge it from a particular port on a power bank. I try and avoid it, and unplug it straight away if I forget.

that doesnt sound right at all.
i have no sound from mine even though charged hundreds of times.
im no electrician but sounds like something could be shorting inside.
have you dropped the mod lately by any chance.
try and charge it away from any items just in case or even better get a charging pouch which is fire retardant.
