Sealing tank airflow holes

I'm a MTL vaper and like a very tight draw (have been using the original old obsolete Evods for years).

Some other tanks would work for me (e.g. the Aspire ET-S) if I sealed off one of the airflow holes. But in order to do this I would want to use a completely inert substance which would not out-gas or otherwise release any adhesive or other chemicals into the airstream going up through the coil.

My understanding is that Araldite Standard is completely inert in air up to at least 60 C once it is completely set (cured), which can take up to a week, and as long as it has been properly mixed 50-50. So sounds safe to me.

Does anybody have any other information or ideas?

Ive crammed wooden cocktail stick into squonk pin to block it. don't know if it would work for air holes, suppose it depends on size of hole.

Do not use to repair or bond items that will contact food or drink.

this works with airholes as well if they are the right size, i’ve done it with a couple of atties with good results.

Hello again all,

In the end I decided to use something similar to Araldite called "J-B Weld". Per the Amazon advert (and also per the actual manufacturer's website) it is temperature-resistant to 500 F (288 C) and is non-toxic when fully cured.

I contacted Araldite directly but they were unable to give me any similar reassurances.
