New product testers sought

they want to know what you’ve been looking at on the internet and what you had for your tea yesterday.
Hi,

The device just records the time and duration of your puffs on the e-cigarette, and then displays this graphically on the app. The e-cigarette has a series of what we call 'glowdown lights' that steadily go out as you keep vaping, which gives a visual indication of how much you've been vaping. It's a bit like watching a cigarette burn down. Then when all the lights go out it classes that as one 'session' and that's how we show your consumption. After the lights are all extinguished, they all light up again and the process restarts; it doesn't suddenly prevent you vaping. You can vary the length of time it takes for the lights to go out, to suit your own preference. It's there to try to let people have some indication of how much they are vaping.

And if you don't want this feature you don't have to connect the device to the internet. It still works, just with the default setting for the time to extinguish the lights. But for anybody trying to cut down, the app is there as an aid.

Hope that helps explain.

More likely it’s aimed at those looking to quit encouraging you to drop off the amount you vape.

Looks like it’s been popular... your inbox appears to be full @mhilton, count me in if you’re short of testers.

There was a similar product at last years Expo. The app actually looked half decent, giving all sorts of data & could tell nic strength as well. Didn't have the charging/refill station though.
